The innovation will enable tree nursery nurseries to obtain timely data (through monitoring) on the health status of seedlings, the presence of weeds and the relative humidity of the soil. The analysis results will be transferred to the GIS system for spatial representation and planning of future greenhouse work. The newly created technology will not only increase the quality of nurseries and planting materials, but also increase human resource productivity, which directly corresponds to the strategic goal of the Latvian forest sector – to double the added value per workplace by 2030.
